Wisdom. It’s good, right? It’s something we want, right?
Are the keepers of wisdom those people who have a bunch of different academic degrees? What about those people who can win arguments, or those who are popular with lots of followers?
In this message based on James 3:13-18, I explore the idea of true versus false wisdom and what it means to value the right things. Knowing the difference and living the difference makes all the difference.
Wisdom isn’t just stuff you know; it’s who you’re known to be.
I also suggest one practical question that each of us can ask ourselves as we seek to apply James’ insight about wisdom to our own lives.
The message is called “Wisdom is more than stuff you know.”
