Graveside dangers, renovation-by-resurrection, and the birthday of God’s new world (Growing Deeper with Luke 24:1-12)

The Pulse Podcast is about living abundantly wholeheartedly.

It includes different kinds of content: Interviews, featured topics, or biblical studies.

This episode is the later—a more in-depth look at Luke 24:1-12, the famous Easter morning passage. I’m calling it “graveside dangers, renovation-by-resurrection, and the birthday of God’s new world.”

I explore some of the background and context to the passage to help broaden our understanding, and discuss the idea of resurrection and what it means not only for Jesus personally, but for the rest of us collectively. There is a life-time of good news and hope in and through the resurrection of Jesus. It is, as N.T. Wright has said, “the birthday of God’s new world.”

Plus, you can link to the video or audio-only versions to the sermon connected to this same text called “The Game Plan” here.
