Pentecost, godly contagion, and carriers of the Holy Spirit (Growing deeper with Acts 2:1-41)

The Pulse Podcast is about living abundantly wholeheartedly.

It includes different kinds of content: Interviews, featured topics, or biblical studies.

This episode is the later—a more in-depth look at Acts 2:1-41, the powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the apostles and disciples at Pentecost, often considered the birthday of the global church.

I take us through the text and explore what this teaches for God’s people today. I touch on the basis for our global unity, how we too can respond to Peter’s invitation, and how to think about the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers today.

Borrowing a word from the world of health care and medicine, we can be “carriers,” but not of some bad contagion, but of the Spirit of Christ, the one and only true cure needed for the world’s ultimate healing.

Enjoy!
