Parting heartfelt instructions, and ethics that never die (Growing Deeper with Hebrews 13)

What would be your parting words to a child as they headed off to university or college for the first time?

You’d probably say what matters most, not least.

Chapter 13 is the final chapter in the book of Hebrews and has that same sort of feel. After having discussed the sufficiency and supremacy of Jesus, and about how that changes everything, the much-concerned author shares some essential words about life and ethics to his beleaguered readers.

The Pulse Podcast is about living abundantly wholeheartedly. It includes different kinds of content: Interviews, featured topics, or biblical studies. This episode is the later—a more in-depth look at Hebrews 13.

I take us through all 25 verses, provide context and background, and encourage us forward with the same instructions and ethics which were shared with these first readers 2000 years ago. Some things never change for a reason.

Enjoy!
