Which Judge would you rather have? [Sermon]

People balk at having a Judge. But that doesn’t change the fact that we do. But let me ask you this: Would you rather have one Judge who is for you, or a hundred judges who are against you? Yeah, me too.

This sermon has two parts. Part 1 explores why we can have confidence that Jesus said and did what the Bible says he said and did. This is an especially important question given Jesus’ long speeches in John’s Gospel.

Part 2 takes us through John 5:19-29 and explores the unity between God the Father and Christ his Son, how Jesus is our Judge, and some practical and positive applications about how to avoid living in fear and uncertainty under the misguided standards, expectations and values of the wrong people.
