Forging ahead when you feel like a failure [Sermon]

Do you ever feel like a failure? Join the club.

We can feel like we’ve failed when our lives are not what we had wanted them to be, or when we haven’t handled a certain relationship well, or when we’ve made a big mistake and are dealing with ongoing consequences, or when we go online and start comparing ourselves to others, or when we try to follow Jesus and keep missing the mark.

In this sermon from September 13, 2020, I explore the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19:1-18 to uncover four insights about the character of God which help us when we’re feeling defeated.

With an unfailing God, failure is never final.
