Despite Our Circumstances [Sermon]

What does it look like to obey God even in the face of serious opposition?

How do we live knowing as if God is in control even when we feel out of control?

We get some insightful answers to these very questions when we look at Peter, John, and the other apostles and early disciples in Acts 4:1-31.

In this sermon from June 6, 2021, I take us through the text, provide some background, and then zero in on their inspiring example: They ask God to use them boldly in their circumstances regardless of their circumstances! That sounds like a good thing to ask for today as well, don’t you think?

The YouTube version of the sermon is here, and the audio-only download is underneath. Also provided is a link to the extra background material called “growing deeper” as a part of The Pulse Podcast.
