The Bible teaches that the world as we know it will come to an end. That’s what I’ve been exploring in a 4-part teaching series called Armageddon: What we know about the end of the world (and the difference it makes).
So far we:
- got our bearings in a discussion with Dr. Brian Irwin (Part 1, November 18, 2019)
- explored why the world will end, and how (Part 2, November 24, 2019)
- and examined some of the ‘signs’ that the end might be coming (Part 3, December 1, 2019).
In this final podcast I offer an explanation of 2 Peter 3, and explore the difference any of this end-of-the-world stuff makes in our day-to-day lives.
English Bible scholar Tom Wright says, “People who believe that Jesus is already Lord and that he will appear again as judge of the world are called and equipped (to put it mildly) to think and act quite differently in the world from those who don’t.”
Let’s explore how.
The podcast is called The Daily Difference Any of It Makes. Here’s the audio. Enjoy!
