T.S. Eliot asked, “Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge? Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?”
Great question! In this information age in which we find ourselves, where information is coming at us at the speed of light all day long (and all night long), it’s easy to get information, but maybe not true knowledge; and if knowledge, then maybe not true wisdom.
There is just so much to distract us from that deep and abiding wisdom we all truly need.
So how do we get it as we try to be wise and faithful followers of Jesus?
That’s what I’m exploring in this teaching series: “Mature: 4 Things Mature People Do on the Path of Joy.”
This sermon is the final installment in a four-part series.
In this message I take us through Philippians 4 and highlight how mature Christians don’t give up. More specifically, I explained four specific behaviours and attitudes we shouldn’t give up while walking through life in the footsteps of Jesus.
I think you’ll be encouraged for whatever you’re dealing with.
