When it comes to learning about the return of Jesus, people tend to be either excited, mystified or hopeful.
Jesus said he was coming back. So did the early church. Ever since, people have scoured the text and engaged in speculation wanting to know everything there is to know.
I get it. But we can’t miss the forest for the trees.
When will he come? Is there such a thing as a “rapture”? How do we be ready? And what is the purpose of his return in the first place?
The Pulse Podcast is about living abundantly wholeheartedly. It includes different kinds of content: Interviews, featured topics, or biblical studies. This episode is the later—and in-depth look at 1 Thessalonians 4:13 – 5:11.
I take us through the text, provide background, answer the above questions, and give us some things to ponder.
