Transgenderism and Sexuality – a talk with The Union

Transgenderism and sexuality. This topic is significant, sensitive and controversial. In the western world, the landscape has radically changed in recent years.

There are parades and preferred pronouns. There are new laws about what you can and cannot say. There are activists and curriculum updates. There are young people getting surgeries to permanently alter their bodies; some are later ‘de-transitioning’ and are taking action against those who let it all happen in the first place. There are controversies about biological men being allowed into women’s sports and women’s prisons.

In and though it all, there are people who are genuinely struggling with their feelings and gender. They want help and hope—and it can be difficult for them (or for any of us)—to know how to provide it in such a confusing time.

In this episode I interview Bryan and Bonnie Pue, co-founders of The Union. They exist to help people find wholeness by presenting a gospel-centred, holistic approach to the topics of identity, sexuality, and relationships.

In this honest conversation, we seek both grace and truth as we navigate one of the most contentious and difficult realities of modern life in the west.

You can listen on the podcast, or watch on YouTube.
