What God is doing—not only around you, but in you (Daniel 8)

Daniel’s vision appalled him. As a result, he was “overcome and lay sick for some days.” He was foretold about the rise of murderous empires who would wreak havoc on the earth and his people. God would put it to an end, but not after considerable pain and desecration. How could Daniel possibly endure?
