Spiritual Gifts 103: All Hands on Deck [Sermon]

Every Christian has at least one spiritual gift. It is a God-given ability which is for the common good. Although there is no definitive list, there are at least 19 that appear in the New Testament.

This sermon is part 3 in a 3-part mini-series on spiritual gifts. Not only have we been learning about the gifts, but we have done some work to figure out which one(s) we might have. In part 3, we look at Ephesians 4:1-16, the “power gifts,” and ask: Where do we go from here?

An old metaphor for the church is a ship. And guess what? If you want the church to be strong, healthy and faithful, it’s all hands on deck. When you identify and use your spiritual gifts you are making a muscular and Spirit-led contribution for your crew and Captain in the storm.
